Camping at Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot

Always wanted to spend a night at the Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot? This summer that’s possible! There’s a camp site in the plum orchard of the Muiderslot between 15 July and 27 August 2022. Staying there is a unique way to experience the castle and history in a completely different way. Tents, mattresses, and camping chairs are in sight, you only need to bring your sleeping bag and your friend(s) or family. The package is for 2 people per tent.

Program

After the closing time of the museum (from 6 pm) The Muiderslot staff welcomes you with a nice beverage. With a richly filled picnic basket, you can then dine in the castle gardens. After dinner, a guide will take you on an evening tour of the castle. The evening will end enjoying the sunset and castle stories around the campfire. Finally, you’ll go to sleep in a tent under the starry sky. The next day you can enjoy a castle breakfast and those who dare can take a dip in the river.

Practical information

An arrangement for 2 persons costs 99 euros per person per night. This includes a welcome drink, picnic basket, castle tour by guide, castle stories by the campfire and breakfast. Please bring your own sleeping bag. If you want to swim/shower in the river, bring a towel as well. Toilets and a bar are available on the premises. It is not allowed to bring your own drink and/or drugs.
