Your evening out gets underway on the water and in winter atmospheres you sail in about thirty minutes across the hushed IJmeer towards Fort Island Pampus. Enjoy spectacular, winter views over the lake and the skylines of Amsterdam, Almere and the Gooi.
An atmospherically lit fort and a hot-fired pavilion are on the island ready to capture your heart. Descend into the semi-hidden historic fort full of dark corridors, impressive domes and hidden rooms. Appetisers are served inside the fort. There are atmospheric seating areas spread across different fort spaces. There is a lovely wine bar. The fort is beautifully lit and it is fascinating to see where men used to be stationed.
Afterwards, take a seat at a beautifully set table in the warmly lit pavilion and enjoy the main course and dessert. Winterlicht serves a set menu composed with producers who are from within The Green Defence Line of Amsterdam as much as possible, with an eye for quality and sustainability.

Practical information
Every Friday and Saturday evening from 3 November to 16 December, sailing from Amsterdam/IJburg. On 24 and 25 November from Muiden. Embarkation is at 6pm. Together with all the other guests, you sail to UNESCO World Heritage Site Pampus. After a special evening full of delicacies, you will sail back around 10.15 pm and be back on solid ground around a little before 11 pm.
