Discover, experience and get to know the impressive history of Weesp. In the magnificent town hall, dating from 1776, Museum Weesp tells the story of the town and its inhabitants.

Weesp was mainly known for its manufacturing industry; for centuries trade and industry ruled. You will find out about the famous Weesp porselain (the first porselain ever produced in the Netherlands), the tasty history of the Van Houten chocolate factory and of course the rich history of the local beer brewers and gin distillers. And lets not forget the vast archaelogical collection!
