Castle Fair at Kasteel-Museum Sypesteyn

Paintings amongst the trees, jewellery on tables in the sunshine and the scent of wood from the smithy. On Saturday 12 September, the historic garden of Kasteel-Museum Sypesteyn will be transformed into a charming castle fair. 

Stroll past stalls selling paintings, gifts, curiosities, jewellery, bags, cushions and bric-a-brac. Along the way, you’ll see craftspeople at work: a woodturner demonstrating his craft, and the blacksmith tending the fire in Sypesteyn’s own smithy. 

The Castle Museum and the terrace at Hof Sypesteyn will also be open on the day. Take your time, have a good wander around and let yourself be surprised by this hidden gem in Loosdrecht. 

Tip: Parking spaces are limited in the vicinity of the castle, so it’s best to come by bike.
