Nico Koster (1940) is a Dutch photographer with a rich oeuvre. He travelled to Cuba with painter Corneille, immortalised the world-famous 'Bed-in for Peace' moment of John Lennon and Yoko Ono and, as a press photographer, was an eyewitness to many turbulent and unforgettable current events in the field of sports, politics, art, royalty and more.

Koster started his career at De Telegraaf, where he worked from 1963 to 1988. In 1975, his reportage of the occupation of the Indonesian Consulate in Amsterdam came second in the World Press Photo, News category. In 1983, he won the Zilveren Camera. After his work at De Telegraaf, Koster opened his own gallery, Jaski Gallery, specialising in the works of the CoBrA movement.
