Charlotte Spruit, the 25-year-old violinist who grew up in Hilversum and is now making her mark on the world stage, returns for a special concert. She shares the stage with pianist Angus Webster, performing the very program they will present the following day at the Concertgebouw. On the music stands are Brahms’ lyrical First Violin Sonata and the intimate Nachklang from Lieder und Gesänge, Op. 59. The program also features the impressionistic colors of Debussy’s Violin Sonata and the enchanting Märchentänze by Thomas Adès. An evening of captivating music where past and present come together.
