On Friday, December 18, 2026, the village of Laren will light up once again during the annual Lichtjesavond. Thousands of lights create a magical atmosphere throughout the village.
At 7:00 PM, the spectacular light parade starts from Singer. Illuminated riders and carriages make their way through the centre while the streetlights are temporarily turned off, adding to the enchanting setting. Earlier in the evening, children can create their own lanterns in the Lantern Workshop and join the parade.

Along the route there will be plenty of music and festive activities, including performances at the Johanneskerk, in front of the Brinkhuis, and at the ice rink on the Brink.
