Sunday Sessions Afrikaans 100

This October, Wisseloord Studios celebrates 100 years of the Afrikaans language with an intimate community concert. South African artists Dawie de Jager and Dewald Wasserfall join forces for an acoustic afternoon full of music, stories, and culture. Expect a mix of beloved Afrikaans classics and their own original songs, performed in the unique atmosphere of Wisseloord.

Dawie de Jager, known from the bands Klopjag and Die Tuindwergies and active as a composer and producer, now lives in Hilversum. Dewald Wasserfall, award-winning singer and songwriter, has secured his place in Afrikaans music with numerous hits and accolades, and currently lives in Breda. Together they bring a special musical experience that highlights the soul of Afrikaans music.
