A student campus for world peace
The student residence stands on the campus of the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris (CIUP), which was founded 100 years ago by the initiative of French Minister of Education André Honnorat. His vision was to create a place where students from around the world could live and meet oneanother: an international student campus designed as a building block for world peace.
Dudok’s international masterpiece
Among the many national houses on the CIUP campus stands the Dutch contribution by W.M. Dudok: the Collège néerlandais, opened in 1938. With this modernist building, the Netherlands presented a progressive architectural vision in Paris. Dudok’s remarkable international design, a cornerstone of the campus, remains a vibrant living place, studying and connecting.
