Het Nieuw Orkest takes you on an atmospheric journey through the far North. The evening opens with the radiant Helios Overture by Carl Nielsen, before drifting into the mystical world of Grieg’s Peer Gynt. At the heart of the programme is a special discovery: the suite Aus Jotunheim by Julius Röntgen, closely connected to his friendship with Grieg and his love for Norway.
