From the moment you step inside, Playhood feels like a cozy neighborhood square – just indoors. A place where children aged 1 to 7 can fully immerse themselves in a world of imagination. They play shop, build houses, bake pizzas, and create the most wonderful adventures together. While they play, parents can relax in the café with a good cup of coffee or tea.
Playhood is designed especially for young children and their parents. The concept has already been a big success in Amsterdam’s Houthavens and is now coming to Hilversum. During play sessions of nearly two hours, children have plenty of space to explore freely and creatively on a colorful square filled with houses and shops, all designed at their scale.
New in Hilversum
The Hilversum location immediately feels familiar with the recognizable Playhood DNA, while also introducing new houses and play elements to discover. Looking ahead: from this summer, both young and old will also be welcome at Escapehood, opening in the same building.
Practical information
Playhood offers 3 to 4 play sessions per day, each lasting 1 hour and 45 minutes. This allows us to guarantee the best possible play experience for everyone. Check our ticket page for the most up-to-date schedule.
