The Gooise Heemtuin gives an impression of the flowering richness of the original Gooise vegetation. The garden also shows aspects of the former cultural landscape.
The garden shows on almost 2000m2 a vast variety of flora and fauna thanks to its unique layout. From March to October, volunteers and members of the IVN work on the maintenance of the garden and visitors are welcome on those days for a guided tour, to look around or to help with the gardening. Group tours can be arranged upon request. In the winter months, there is no work. The garden is freely accessible all year round.
