Recreational island Markus Pos is located between the Tweede and Derde Plas in Loosdrecht. Moor your boat at one of the moorings on the north side of the island (with harbour basin and jetties). Enjoy the play and sunbathing areas, playground equipment and beach.

This grassy island has a sandy beach where children can enjoy swimming and playing. The water slopes gradually and the swimming area is protected. There is a water pump, stepping stones and climbing equipment.

The island is beautifully green and you can even spend the night here! It is allowed to stay overnight on the island for 3 consecutive nights. You can also pole camp here with your own hiker's tent. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Sanitary facilities and waste containers are available.

Can't or don't want to sail yourself? During the summer months, De Fietsboot (Bike Boat) across the Loosdrechtse Plassen also stops at island Markus Pos. The Bike Boat sails between De Porseleinhaven in Loosdrecht and De Strook in Breukeleveen.
