Café Ome Ko is the oldest pub in the fortified city of Muiden and has been pouring beer since 1810. Even Napoleon Bonaparte was here on horseback and the whole Gooi knows the famous skipper and sailor café Ome Ko.

In summer, the terrace of Ome Ko is the place to be with the best view of the lock. While enjoying a snack and a drink, you have a place on the first row to enjoy the spectacle in the lock on the Herengracht from early in the morning until late at night.
