Natural Swimming Pool de Meent

De Meent is a beautiful natural swimming pool with a grassy meadow where you can picnic, sunbathe and play. Near the shallow end of the pool is a sandy beach with play equipment for smaller children. At the deep end are a high and low diving board for slightly older children.

This pool has great appeal in the village and is a meeting place for young and old. It is the oldest outdoor pool still in use in the Netherlands.

The pool is located in a water and wooded area and is part of one of the marshes on the western side of the Loosdrechtse Plassen.
