The area offers an abundance of culture, history, scenic beauty, and recreation. Visit special places of interest, such as the forts of the New Dutch Water Line, the historic village centers along the Vecht, and the windmills in the protected natural areas.
At Slot Zuylen you will find the Land van Zuylen Visitor Center for information about the region. At the Museum Café - also in the Koetshuis - you can enjoy fair-trade coffee and tea, organic juices, lunch with products from our own garden, coffee with cake, and high tea.

Parking options
You can park for free in the parking lot along the driveway of Slot Zuylen. There are approximately 60 free parking spaces. In addition, there are additional parking spaces on Zuylenselaan.
With public transport
Take bus 36 from Utrecht Central, direction Maarssen or v.v. Get off at the Oud-Zuilen stop. From the bus stop approx. 5 minutes walk: follow the traffic sign Oud-Zuilen (Zuilenselaan). From the drawbridge: follow the sign Slot Zuylen.
Or take bus 120 from Utrecht Central to Amsterdam Station Bijlmer or v.v. Get off at the Zuilenselaan stop. From the bus stop approx. 15 minutes walk: Enter the Zuilenselaan (bicycle path). Cross the Burgemeester Norbruislaan and continue on the Zuilenselaan. From the drawbridge: follow the sign Slot Zuylen.

What is a TOP?
You will find various TOPs, Tourist Transfer Points, spread throughout Gooi & Vecht. Here you can park for free, there is (usually) catering for a snack or drink, and from this point you can easily pick up the cycling and walking routes.
